The Trailer Valet XL Trailer Dolly part # TVXL25 that you referenced uses a solid rubber tire, part # TVXLSR so there would be no inflation valve to add air. However, I think you might have the Trailer Valet 5X Swivel Jack and Trailer Mover part # STC-V211 which has pneumatic tires that you can add air to. The valve stem for these tires will be visible once you remove the wheel from the jack. view full answer...
I am not sure which Duo Therm AC unit you have, but if you have the Duo Therm penguin the shroud you'd need is the part # AT3308046006. view full answer...
The base of the B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Hitch w/ Slider # BWRVK3775 is only designed to be facing one way, with the slider release on the driver's side. Flipping the base around would have the sliding position on the base closer to cab of the truck which would shorten your turning clearance and defeat the purpose of the slider. view full answer...
If you have an ignition wire running from your 40 Amp BCDC # 331-BCDC1240D then the 60-Amp Relay Kit # 331-RK1260 isn't needed. There just has to be enough power on that wire to reach back to the BCDC so it can read the alternator properly. Basically if the BCDC is reading everything properly then you have enough power. Otherwise you need the relay kit.
If you were having a problem running the ignition wire all the way to the BCDC then that's when the relay kit would be used. view full answer...
Thanks for letting us know how the install of the Curt Hitch part # C31071 went on your 2015 Chevy Silverado 3500. Sometimes hitches can get slightly bent in shipping which can cause the clearances to be tighter than intended. I am not 100% that is what happened in your situation but it is possible. Either way I am glad you got it figured out and installed.
As long as you get all of the bolts installed and torqued to the specs in the installation instructions the way you get everything... view full answer...
On you 2015 Chevy Silverado with the 6'5" bed, the base rail closest to the tailgate, rear edge of the base rail, needs to be sitting at a mark at 25-1/8" measured from the rear edge of the bed. It is listed in the instruction on page 5. You also want to measure between each end of the rail and the wheel well to make sure it is centered in the bed and mark the ends of the rail. Also keep in mind if you have a drop in bed liner, remove it and it can be reinstalled and cut around the rails... view full answer...
We have everything that you will need to wire up electric winches on your 2015 Chevy Silverado 3500 diesel. Take a look at the help article I have linked that explains different ways to wire an electric winch.
You would need to look at option 2 in the first section. The same methods can be applied to the back of the truck but you would need additional wiring to reach the back.
For a battery isolator we have # PK5231201. You might need a different type of isolator though such as # DW08771... view full answer...
The TorkLift StableLoad Suspension Upgrade Kit # TLA7202 installs WITHOUT drilling or trimming on vehicles with factory leaf springs and an upper overload spring. The four springs install in place of your factory bump stops. Written installation instructions are linked for you. view full answer...
I went ahead and checked with my contact at curt to get some clarity on this one. There is no 4-5/8" hole saw required to install this # C607-604. You would use a 4" hole saw for the center hole, and you would use a 5/8" hole saw (or drill bit) to make the holes for the safety chain loops. The way they have it worded in the instructions is certainly confusing (4" and 5/8" hole saw). view full answer...
The Hisense Over the Range RV Convection Microwave part # 324-000100 does comes with installation hardware so you will be ready to go once it arrives. This will be a great replacement option for the old Dometic unit. view full answer...
For your 2019 Chevy Silverado 3500 the rail kit of the Pro Series Hitch and Rail Kit # PS30128 installs by first placing the rear rail edge 25-1/4 inches from the rear of the truck bed. You'll then use the hitch to place the front rail by putting the rear legs of the hitch into the rear rail and then putting the front legs into the front rails and installing them in that exact location. This is the correct location for use with a fifth wheel hitch or with an Andersen Ultimate adapter like... view full answer...
First, you are going to need a couple sets of quick disconnects such as # BDW20133. You will need enough 2 to 4 gauge wire to reach from the front of the truck to the batteries and from the rear of the truck to the batteries. Another option is to get a couple of winch wiring kits, # BDW20207.
The winch power and ground wires will attach to one disconnect and the wiring to the batteries will attach to the mating quick disconnect.
Diesel trucks normally have 2 batteries so the isolator... view full answer...
The B&W Custom Base Rails and Installation Kit for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches part # BWRVK2506 uses 8 carriage bolts to secure the base rails to the frame brackets. The base rails have 2 square cutouts on each end to accommodate a carriage bolt. The square cutouts minimize movement and allows for you to tighten one side without holding the other. Unfortunately, as the manufacturer recommends using the carriage bolts included in the kit I cannot recommend you substitute them for grade 8 hex... view full answer...
The Buyers Products Mud Flaps # 337B1018PPB that you referenced are universal guards that simply get mounted to the frame around the wheel wells of your vehicle. Ideally you will use the factory fasteners on the truck to secure it into place and locally sourced self tapping screws for further retention.
These mud flaps don't come with the mounting hardware since it may differ depending on the application. view full answer...
I combined both of your questions into one.
There were some issues with the Curt Q Series hitches including # C16069. Those issues have been addressed though in the form of a new series of hitches; the "A" series. The A25 is # C16066.
Damaged shipping cartons occur when the delivery service handles the packages. Heavy items can sometimes get tossed around and the boxes get damaged. The packaging is not damaged when it leaves our warehouse though.

If your 2014 Chevy 4500 chassis is equipped with the factory 7-Way connector then the needed brake controller wiring is already ran to the cab but there isn't an actual plug present to use with a plug-in brake controller adapter. In order to install your Tekonsha brake controller such as the Prodigy P2 # 90885 you will just need to connect the wiring pigtail on the controller to the existing wires under the dash.
Some models of the 4500 will have these wires under the dash near the emergency... view full answer...
Brake magnet clips attach the brake magnet to the brake assembly so they should still be on there when you take the drum off. I looked up the 10,000lbs Dexter axle and the # BP19005 is the correct part for the 12 inch electric brake assembles oval magnet. A coworker of mine recommended testing to see if they are seated properly before finishing the install to prevent further problems.
It is hard to say exactly why the magnet clips of your trailer keep dislodging. If the problem is only... view full answer...
Check out the link I attached that will take you to an FAQ on how to install an aftermarket brake controller in a Chevy truck like yours that has an integrated brake controller.
Only one brake controller can be functional at a time. The factory controller will be bypassed but it would not need to be removed. view full answer...
The base on the Replacement Stand-Off Brace for the Surco Universal Exterior RV Ladders # SPN-416 slides over the standoff tube and is held back with the lip formed by the end of the tube because the tube is widened at the other end. The base is then held in place with 4 screws.

To alleviate your headache rack issues you'll need to pick up some resistors with part # DI34ZR along with a 4-pole pigtail like part # 002220. You'll splice the resistor into the wiring for the headache rack and then splice on the 4-pole pigtail and can run it out to your 7-way and use an adapter like part # 47405 to plug in. I recommend using some heat shrink butt connectors # DW05744-10 to properly seal your connections and prevent corrosion. view full answer...
